From April 1 to 3, Hunan Institute of Engineering (HIE), in collaboration with the Xiangtan Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, hosted the 25th Seminar on Research Management for Universities and Research Institutes & Innovation Forum on Commercialization of Scientific and Technological Achievements. Under the theme "Unblocking the Pathways for Commercializing Achievements to Empower New Quality Productive Forces," the forum brought together research management professionals from universities, research institutes, local science and technology administration departments, and enterprises to explore new pathways and mechanisms for the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements.

Cao Zhiling, Secretary of the HIE University Council, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. On behalf of the university, Cao extended a sincere welcome to all guests and systematically introduced HIE's recent explorations and practices in deepening research management reform, advancing organized research, and building a full-chain system for the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements. He expressed the hope that participants would draw inspiration, exchange ideas, and gain valuable insights from the forum.

Li Zhengyu, Second-level Inspector of the Hunan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, noted in his address that he hopes universities and research institutes will continue to deepen research management reforms, improve incentive mechanisms, optimize resource allocation, strengthen government-industry-university-research-application collaboration, and accelerate the transformation of more scientific and technological achievements into practical productive forces. This will provide a solid foundation for cultivating new quality productive forces and supporting Hunan's high-quality development.
